Thannis Aviators LLC Last updated: 09/01/2026
This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit or buy from thannisaviators.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what control you have over it.

We are the data controller for information collected through this website.
What we collect
When you browse the site. Your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring website, pages viewed, and time spent on them. This is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.
When you place an order. Your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, and order contents. Payment card details are entered directly into our payment processor's systems — we never see or store your full card number.
When you create an account. Your name, email address, password (stored encrypted), and your order history.
When you subscribe to emails. Your email address, and whether you open or click our messages.
When you contact us. Your name, email address, and whatever you choose to tell us in your message.
When you request a return. Your order number and the reason for the return.
Why we use it
- To process, fulfil and ship your orders
- To take payment and guard against fraudulent transactions
- To send order confirmations, shipping notifications and delivery updates
- To answer your questions and handle returns, refunds and warranty claims
- To send marketing emails, if you have subscribed
- To understand how our site is used so we can improve it
- To show relevant advertising on Google and other platforms
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we need to run the business:
Shopify Inc. hosts our store and processes orders and payments. Their privacy policy is at shopify.com/legal/privacy.
Payment processors. Shopify Payments, PayPal and Venmo handle card and wallet transactions. Each holds your payment details under its own privacy policy.
eFulfillment Service, Inc. in Traverse City, Michigan picks, packs and ships your order, and receives returns. They get your name, shipping address and order contents.
Shipping carriers including UPS and USPS receive your name, address and phone number so they can deliver your parcel.
Google. We use Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads. These collect usage data and help us measure and target advertising.
Meta. If you reach us through our Facebook page or interact with our advertising there, Meta may receive data about that interaction.
Email provider. Our newsletter platform stores your email address and engagement history if you have subscribed.
Amazon. If you order through our Amazon storefront rather than this website, Amazon's privacy policy governs that transaction, not this one.
We may also disclose information where we are legally required to — for example in response to a subpoena, court order, or lawful request from a government authority.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use them to:
- Keep items in your shopping cart between pages
- Keep you signed in to your account
- Remember your preferences
- Measure how the site is used
- Support advertising and measure whether it works
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so may stop parts of the site — the cart in particular — from working properly.
Do Not Track. Our site does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals, as there is no agreed standard for how to interpret them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you
- Access a copy of it
- Correct anything inaccurate
- Delete it, subject to records we must keep for tax and accounting purposes
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights
California residents have these rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA. Residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have comparable rights.
To exercise any of them, email support@thannisaviators.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will verify your identity — usually by confirming details of a recent order — and respond within 45 days.
Marketing emails. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any message, or by emailing us. Transactional emails about orders you have placed will continue regardless.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for seven years to meet US tax and accounting requirements.
Account information is kept until you ask us to delete it. Marketing subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Website analytics data is retained according to Google's standard retention settings.
Security
We use SSL encryption across the site, and payment card data is handled by PCI-DSS compliant processors and never stored on our systems. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold.
Children
Our store is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their information, email us and we will delete it.
International visitors
We are based in the United States and our service providers are primarily located there. If you visit or order from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices change or as the law requires. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version. Material changes will be announced on this page.
