1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of thannisaviators.com and any purchase you make from it. By browsing the site or placing an order, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
The site is operated by Thannis Aviators LLC, 807 Airport Access Road, Traverse City, MI 49686, United States ("we", "us", "our").
2. Who may use the site
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to place an order. By ordering, you confirm you are legally able to enter into a binding contract.
3. Accounts
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for any activity that takes place under it. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
We may suspend or close an account that we reasonably believe is being used fraudulently or in breach of these Terms.
4. Products and availability
We sell aviation equipment manufactured by Design 4 Pilots. We are the authorised United States dealer for that brand.
Product images and descriptions are supplied by the manufacturer and are as accurate as we can make them. Colours may appear differently on different screens, and manufacturers occasionally change specifications without notice.
Stock is limited and availability shown on the site is not guaranteed until your order is confirmed and shipped. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will contact you and refund you in full.
5. Pricing
All prices are in US dollars and exclude shipping and applicable sales tax, which are calculated at checkout.
We try to keep prices accurate, but errors happen. If an item is listed at an obviously incorrect price, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund you in full, whether or not the order has been confirmed. We will always contact you before doing so.
Prices may change at any time. The price that applies to your order is the one shown at checkout.
6. Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send you a shipping confirmation — not when you receive an order confirmation email, which simply acknowledges that we have received your order.
We may refuse or cancel any order, including where:
- The item is out of stock or incorrectly priced
- We suspect fraud or unauthorised use of a payment method
- The billing and shipping details cannot be verified
- The order appears to be for resale rather than personal or professional use
7. Payment
We accept the cards and payment methods shown at checkout. Payment is taken when your order is placed. Card details are handled by our payment processors and are never stored on our systems.
You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method you provide.
8. Shipping and risk
We ship from our fulfilment centre in Traverse City, Michigan. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees, and we are not responsible for carrier delays outside our control.
Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier delivers the parcel to the address you provided. If a parcel is marked delivered but you have not received it, contact us and we will help you open a claim with the carrier.
You are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address. We cannot refund orders lost because of an incorrect address.

9. Returns and refunds
Returns are governed by our Refund policy, which forms part of these Terms.
10. Warranties
Our products carry the manufacturer's warranty provided by Design 4 Pilots against defects in materials and workmanship. We will assist you in making a warranty claim.
Except for that manufacturer's warranty and any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law, products are supplied "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Some states do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so this may not apply to you.
Aviation use. Our products are bags, cases, kneeboards and accessories. They are not aircraft parts, avionics or safety equipment, and nothing we sell is approved, certified or intended for use as flight-critical equipment. You are responsible for ensuring any item you carry into an aircraft complies with the applicable regulations and your operator's procedures.
11. Intellectual property
The site, its layout, and our own text and photography are owned by us or used under licence.
Design 4 Pilots and associated names, logos and product designs are the intellectual property of the manufacturer. We use them as an authorised dealer. Nothing on this site grants you any right to use them.
You may not copy, reproduce or republish any part of the site for commercial purposes without our written permission.
12. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the site to:
- Break any law or regulation
- Infringe anyone's intellectual property
- Transmit malware or attempt to interfere with the site's operation
- Scrape, harvest or extract data by automated means
- Impersonate anyone or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organisation
13. Third-party links
The site may link to other websites, including the manufacturer's. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, products or privacy practices.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data or business interruption, arising from your use of the site or any product bought from it.
Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
Some states do not allow certain limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
15. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against any claim arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the site.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Michigan, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
17. Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. The "last updated" date shows the current version. Changes apply to orders placed after they are posted.
18. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
19. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with our Refund policy, Shipping policy and Privacy policy, are the entire agreement between us regarding your use of the site.
